This course runs over five Sundays.

No weaving experience required! This comprehensive introductory course will guide you in the use of a 4 shaft table loom to weave your own cloth. Enjoy the satisfaction of taking yarn through to finished fabric with our tremendous teachers.

Course cost includes yarn for your initial sampler and the use of a loom to take home between classes.

Topics include how to:

• weave your own cloth

• use a 4 shaft table loom and related tools 

• wind a warp and dress the loom

• choose yarns and interpret weaving drafts

• produce a sampler using simple structures, then weave a project of your choice

• employ decorative finishing techniques

Commencing Sunday 9th February 10am-3pm then

Sunday 23rd February,  Sunday 1 st March, Sunday 15th March, 

Plus a review and loom return on  Sunday 29th March  (10am - 12 noon)
